The second single coming from their first Lp on Elefant includes the one that could be the poppiest song from “Alta Fidelidad”. With “En Tu Calle”, LOS FLECHAZOS keep on insisting in the reasons that keep youth alive (in this case from a very romantic, aesthetic point of view, taking you back to the best moments of West Side Story) making you forget for a while the running of time, as well as they have done. But don’t get them wrong: not forgetting the present -musically speaking-, they recreate their golden years writing superb songs. Because LOS FLECHAZOS is a band of SONGS, something lots of people are beginning to prefer instead of an anxiety to evolve. Therefore, if after the huge amount of songs they’ve published, they still get to touch you, you get this last idea.
On the flipside, this idea is emphasized, “One More Try” is another blow of vitality in which you dive in to travel along time with them. Recorded at Waves studios and sung in English to be part of a single almost simultaneously released by British label Detour Records (and coming along with “Dream In My Mind”, “Good Thing” and “Pretty Sight Full Of Sorrow”, it will be only available via import) it could have been the star song of their Lp. A sparkling pop song, bringing us the band at their strongest, no expire date in it, really big.
In the Cd-single version, a bonus track, “Queda Mucho Por Andar” (previously included in the Lp “Alta Fidelidad”) in an instrumental version, and “Stop In The Name Of Love”, a cover of the SUPREMES included as a B side on the first single taken from “Alta Fidelidad”.
